Annabelle Custom Quad Look Series

Annabelle Custom Quad Looks

I've been recording tutorials for the Annabelle Custom Quad looks, the looks are my interpretation of the looks on the website. Please visit my YouTube Website at:

http://www.youtube.com/user/CrisstynaJ

If you would like to see the original images, please visit:

The more looks I complete, the more that will be added to this Post. There are 8 looks in total, and so far I've completed two. Here is a comparison of my look vs the Original Annabelle look.

Look One - Biker Chic

This look is all about Drama! Really dark eyes, and nude lips.

This is the Original Look From Annabelle.

This is my Interpretation, in a few photos.

Look Two - Pop Art

This look is very colourful, and vibrant. I found the geometric shaping of the blocks of colour extremely interesting. Whoever thought up this look deserves praise, as it's a very esoteric look.

This is the Original Look from Annabelle.

This is my interpretation , in a few photos.

Long Awaited Pics & Swatches of the Annabelle Custom Quads!

Annabelle Custom Quads!

Colours & Swatches!

These shadows are called "Mono Eyeshadows" as you purchase them singly. You can arrange them however you want, this is just the way I have my Pallet's right now. The Price Point Suggested at Annabelle's website is $3.95, but expect to pay $4.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart (That's what the Shoppers near me charges). Currently there are 20 Mono Shadows, although some of them are Promotional Shades available in Limited Edition only. So grab them while you can, and maybe purchase some back ups! These eyeshadows are EXTREMELY pigmented, and VERY soft in texture. These eyeshadows are sold exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart, although if you phone Annabelle's Customer Service line, you can order straight through them, and people living in the United States can purchase Annabelle Products also by calling the Customer Service Line.
The number is Toll Free 1-800-387-7710, then enter extension 352 to purchase the products. I have the shipping fee's written down, so if you're interested in knowing them, let me know and I'll give them to you!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I Call this the "Bright Pallet" as the colours are very bright and extremely pigmented! Keep in mind on the swatches, there is absolutely NO base on my hand or anything, just my skin, so you can imagine these colours with a nice base underneath!
The colours in the pallet are as follows:
  • Top Left: -->SUGAR DUST
  • Top Right: -->MARTIAN
  • Bottom Left: LAGUNA SURF
  • Bottom Right: PURPLE REINE
The Colours in the swatches are as follows, going Left to Right:
  • Sugar Dust
  • Martian
  • Purple Reine
  • Laguna Surf
Remember there is NO BASE on any of these swatches, I wanted to show the raw colours. I might add some pictures with base later on, I'll see what everyone has to say.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This next pallet is the Neutral colours Quad. They are all gorgeous, and surprisingly pigmented for "highlight" colours!

The colours in the pallet are as follows:
  • Top Left: -->SNOWFLAKE
  • Top Right: -->WHIPPED
  • Bottom Left: BUFF NAKED
  • Bottom Right: EBONY

The Colours in the swatches are as follows, going Left to Right:

  • Snowflake
  • Whipped
  • Buff Naked
  • Ebony
These colours are gorgeous even for an everyday look, or as highlights, whatever you desire, they are also excellent for use in blending colours onto the brow bone!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This pallet is stocked with beautiful blues and gorgeous grays. These colours go very well together, but they also go with pretty much any of the other colours. All of the 20 shadow colours are very interchangeable.
The colours in the pallet are as follows:
  • Top Left: -->SOAR
  • Top Right: -->INDIGO GLOW
  • Bottom Left: MISTED UP
  • Bottom Right: SMOKED
The Colours in the swatches are as follows, going Left to Right:
  • Soar
  • Indigo Glow
  • Misted Up
  • Smoked
These colours can be used in a variety of ways, from a day time look, with just a hint of colour, or a really dramatic night look, and makes for a very interesting smokey eye!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The last pallet is a very natural but sultry grouping of colours. These Earthy colours are deep, and sultry, but can also be applied to look like a very natural eye.

The colours in the pallet are as follows:
  • Top Left: -->FUNBURST
  • Top Right: -->DIVINE DIVA
  • Bottom Left: SO FOXY
  • Bottom Right: BRONZED IDOL

The Colours in the swatches are as follows, going Left to Right (ON MY HAND):

  • So Foxy
  • Bronzed Idol
  • Divine Diva
  • Funburst

Again this earthy colours can be mixed and matched with almost any of the other colours. These colours are a staple to have in your collection.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are 20 Mono Shadows in total, I currently have 16 of them. So there's a whole quad I've yet to get. The colours I'm missing are Gold Digger, Ka-Ching, Metallic Meltdown, and Vanilla Chilla. Unfortunately some of these colours are Limited Edition. But there will also be colours that have yet to come out that will be Limited Edition, and also Limited Edition Quad Designs. I'm going to list the names of all of the Mono Shadows, and if they Are Limited Edition. To shorten it, I'll put the colour name in Bold and use the following (LE), and the ones I don't own, I will put this (*).
  • Bronzed Idol
  • Buff Naked
  • Divine Diva
  • Ebony
  • Funburst (LE)
  • Gold Digger (*)
  • Indigo Glow
  • Ka-Ching (*)
  • Laguna Surf (LE)
  • Martian (LE)
  • Metallic Meltdown (*)
  • Misted Up (LE)
  • Purple Reine (LE)
  • Smoked (LE)
  • Snowflake
  • Soar (LE)
  • So Foxy
  • Sugar Dust
  • Vanilla Chilla (*)
  • Whipped (LE)
#1 of Past Makeup Looks - Frozen
I call this look Frozen, and whenever I wear it, I get a lot of compliments! It's a very easy look to achieve! To get this look I used all Annabelle Products, which I will list below. Of course you can use any brand of makeup that you'd like, it looks just as good with any brand.
Products Used: Snowflake e/s applied all over my eye from lashes to brows, Purple Reine in the outside of the crease, Soar in the higher part of crease, and feathered up & out, still not touching the inside eye area. Create a mirror image by blending snowflake on the bottom inside of the lower lash line, then apply Soar in the middle bottom, and Purple Rein on the outside of your lower lash line. Blend, Blend, Blend. Line eyes with Electric Sapphire Smudgeliner, and finish off with 2 coats of volumelash.com Mascara in Black.
These are only pictures, if you like any of them, feel free to request a video tutorial either on here or on my You Tube website. http://www.youtube.com/user/CrisstynaJ
My Nightmare with The Body Needs
Save yourself the grief and shop elsewhere
My sister in law had bought me a pre-paid Master Card for my Birthday (Jan 15th). I wanted to purchase some MAC Pigments, and had heard a lot of people say that they had used that site, and their pigments were good. So, I went to the site, spent about an hour choosing what I wanted, and spent $50 on Cheryl's (the owner) site. It said that International Shipping would take 2-6 weeks.
I paid Jan 31, she said it shipped Feb 4th. I waited and waited, March 4th came along, I contacted Cheryl and told her I was getting worried. She stated that she had sent it Feb 4th, and that she couldn't do anything until the full 6 weeks were up, and to contact her on March 18th. A few days before the 18th, I contacted her again, and she gave me the Customs #. I phoned Canada Customs, and to my utter shock that the package had NEVER entered Canada!! I contacted USPS immediately after, and they said that they had received an electronic message that a shipments was to be made, but that they never received it, and they had no further information.
I informed Cheryl of this, and she starts demanding to know who I spoke to, and starts telling me that I've been given wrong information, and that the package entered Canadian Customs on February 9th! Where she got this bull shit information is beyond me. I told her that the problem HAD to be rectified, either send me another package, or refund my money. She said that she wanted to file a grievance with USPS and have them search for the "lost" package (if she even sent it to begin with). I sent her Canada Customs information and phone number to prove it never entered Canada. She emailed back saying "fine. I can see you don't desire to be patient long enough to find the lost package, and I honestly don't blame you". Desire to be patient? Wasn't I being patient the months waiting for my package that never came??? Some people have no tact, and she was trying to make herself sound intimidating, to which I laughed very hard. Thanks to my friend Aprille, she found a bunch of people complaining and bitching on makeup blogs about "The Body Needs" and Cheryl, and how she turns into a super bitch, which I can vouge for!!
Finally she asked for my PayPal Address. Now Cheryl's saying that to refund my payment takes 3-5 business days, and that she will send it to my pay pal. All I have to say at this point is that she had better do it, and do it fast. I'm waiting until I get my money, and then I will be making complaints with every organization that she is part of or known by. I need to warn others that this could happen to them, and she's just as happy to let you wait for something that will never come.
UPDATE: MARCH 30TH, 09
I HATE TO HAVE TO EVEN WRITE ABOUT THIS STILL! IT'S GOTTEN TO THE POINT THAT I KNOW SHE'S 'HIDING', AND THAT SHE DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY. 3-5 DAYS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD BY HER IN A SINGLE SENTENCE EMAIL THAT IT WOULD TAKE TO REFUND MY MONEY. THIS IS THE 7TH BUSINESS DAY, AND STILL NO DEPOSIT OR EMAIL OR EXPLANATION. I WROTE HER AND TOLD HER THAT THIS IS SERIOUS, AND THAT SHE'S HAD MORE THAN TIME TO PAY ME BACK, WHAT'S GOING ON? I SOMEHOW DOUBT SHE'LL ANSWER, FAIR IS FAIR, I PAYED FOR PRODUCTS THAT I NEVER RECEIVED, THAT NEVER EVEN ENTERED THE COUNTRY, SO SHE HAS TO PAY ME BACK. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TAKE IT NOW, ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
UPDATE: JULY 19TH, 09
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG TO UPDATE THIS! SHE ENDED UP REFUNDING MY MONEY, AND I NEVER GOT THE PACKAGE. SHE SAID AT THE TIME THAT SHE WAS FILING A SUIT WITH USPS, SO I CALLED CANADA POST, AND ASKED THEM THE STATUS ON THE PACKAGE, LOUD & CLEAR, IT NEVER ENTERED CANADA, SO I EMAILED CHERYL AND TOLD HER THAT I HAD SPOKEN TO CANADA POST, THAT THEY NEVER BROUGHT THE PACKAGE PAST THE BORDER, AND TOLD HER THE EMAIL OF THE WOMAN I SPOKE TO, AND TOLD HER THAT I WOULD LET HER KNOW IF ANY INFORMATION CAME TO ME. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT USPS SAID IT HAD NEVER BEEN SHIPPED. IT REALLY SHOCKED HER THAT I'D GONE THAT FAR, AND SHE NEVER CONTACTED ME AGAIN. I WILL NEVER USE HER SERVICES AGAIN, SHE'S A TOTAL BITCH! I ENDED UP BUYING SOME PIGMENTS FROM MARLENA (MAKEUP GEEK) AND SHE WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH, YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT HER SITE! IT'S :
WWW.MAKEUPGEEK.COM SHE HAS SOME AMAZING PRODUCTS & DEALS.
